PAWRUS® DISCIPLINARY POLICY
1 Discipline with respect to Students is governed by Academy & Group Statutes. Any student who is alleged to have committed or attempted to commit offences will be subject to disciplinary proceedings.
Students of Pawrus® should familiarise themselves with the Pawrus® Student Code of Conduct, which is intended to guide students’ conduct in both the academic and non-academic aspects of their Academy life by providing an overview of the behaviour generally expected of them as members of the Academy community.
2 Supervising Teachers are empowered to adjudicate any offences in relation to existing Students of the Academy. In such cases, appeals can be brought before the Chief Executive Officer if the disciplinary action is initiated by the Supervising Teacher, before the Supervising Teacher if initiated by a Teacher or before a Teacher if initiated by a Team Member.
3 The Board of Discipline is empowered to adjudicate any offences in relation to any student of the Academy, whether existing or for whom the candidature has ceased, as long as the circumstances giving rise to the disciplinary proceedings arose while the person was a student of the Academy or in connection with the person’s admission into the Academy. The Board of Discipline is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and comprises of one other C-Suite Level Executive. Appeals against the decisions of this Board are heard by the Disciplinary Appeals Board. The Disciplinary Appeals Board is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer and comprises of at least one other Advisory Team Member.
